GUEST SPEAKER PANEL: UNLOCKING THE POWER OF BIKES AND TRANSIT
For the first time ever, we will be offering a panel discussion at our AGM!
By combining cycling and transit into a single "bike-transit" system, a seamless, door-to-door mobility option is immediately unlocked.
TransLink's Transport 2050 Plan aims to make cycling the most convenient option for shorter trips and transit the most convenient option for longer trips. Come learn from 4 expert panelists on the benefits of combining cycling and transit, and how we can increase our active and healthy mode-share in Metro Vancouver.
Panelists:
- Sabrina Lau Texier: Acting Director, Infrastructure Programs at TransLink
- Mia Kohout: CEO of Vancouver Bike Share aka Mobi by Rogers
- Denis Agar, Executive Director, Movement: Metro Vancouver
- Navdeep Chhina, Director of Campaigns and Inclusion, HUB Cycling
